Airon Shaw

Airon Shaw supports the organization as the Community Support Coordinator. Originally from Alabama, Airon earned a degree in Political Science with minors in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies from the University of North Alabama. She moved to Vermont to attend Vermont Law and Graduate School, where she completed her Masters in Restorative Justice.

Airon is passionate about criminal justice reform and the ways lived experience shapes both social and environmental justice. In addition to her work with VT PoC, she is the owner of Ninny Goat & Co., a cannabis dispensary based in Fairlee. Drawing from the support she received through VT PoC to build her own business, Airon is committed to helping others do the same.
