Prep Cook / Dishwasher (Full-Time)
Santiago’s Cuban Cuisine – Burlington, VT
Pay: $21+/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Santiago’s Cuban Cuisine is looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Cook who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and be a key part of the kitchen team. This role is essential to keeping our operation running smoothly—from prep to service to clean down.

Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and food items for daily service (cutting, portioning, batching recipes)
Assist with light cooking and execute dishes during lunch service as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen throughout the shift
Wash dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment consistently and efficiently
Deep clean fryers at least once per week
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Support the kitchen team wherever needed—this is a team-first environment
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Strong work ethic and reliability—show up ready to work
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Kitchen experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
