About the Job

The Governor’s Institutes of Vermont (GIV) is looking for an exceptional Executive Operations Coordinator to become an indispensable member of our small team.

Do you love building systems? Keeping projects moving? Helping others do their best work? If you’re a highly organized and proactive self-starter, and helping a mission-driven organization run smoothly excites you, we’d love to hear from you!

Supporting the Executive Director, Development Director, and Business & Data Manager, the person in this newly expanded role will serve as the organizational hub of our team: ensuring projects move forward, systems stay organized, and deadlines are met.

You’ll work closely with GIV’s leadership team, gaining firsthand experience in fundraising, board governance, organizational strategy, and nonprofit operations. If you’re someone who loves making things run better and enjoys being the person others rely on to keep great work moving, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact every day.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Vermont.

Note: this is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days/week expected in our Winooski office.

What’s GIV? Each year, we help more than 500 Vermont high school students pursue their interests and find their people through residential summer Institutes on Vermont college campuses. To learn more: https://giv.org
