About the Job

Ready to help shape a future where all young people in Vermont thrive—free from violence and full of possibility?  

The Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence is looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Director of Healthy Youth Initiatives to lead transformative youth prevention efforts across the state. This role will:  

  • Drive systems change 
  • Partner with inspiring youth leaders and the adults that work with them 
  • Advance strategies that prevent harm before it happens  

We’re looking for someone who thrives working across sectors—public health, education, state agencies, and community organizations—to build strategies rooted in justice, equity, and evidence.  

Successful candidates will be systems thinkers, relationship-builders, and passionate advocates for youth and social change.  

Qualifications: include  

  • BA (or equivalent experience) 
  • at least 4 years of relevant professional experience working on youth or prevention initiatives 
  • experience working with youth and/or cultivating youth leadership.

Wage or Salary
$60,000 - $90,000, budgeted at mid-pay band.
