Organization Description
"Our mission at Prevent Child Abuse Vermont is to promote and support healthy relationships within families, schools, and communities to eliminate child abuse. Prevent Child Abuse Vermont engages 8,000-10,000 Vermonters annually through group-based family support programs, child sexual abuse prevention education for adults and students grades pre-school through 8, and Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention/Safe Sleep Promotion for parents of newborns, high school students, professionals, and maternal-child medical personnel."

Our board is comprised of BPOC, LGBTQ & I, and people with lived experience and disabilities. We welcome all interested applicants.

Board Terms and Term Limits
Currently the board, which is statewide, meets using technology
Frequency & Duration of Board Meetings
Board meets every other month on Monday from 6-8PM. As well as an annual board retreat, which takes place from 10 to 3 on a Saturday in Fall, and an annual meeting involving both board and staff in December from 5-8:30pm
