Support network gives boost to BIPOC business owners

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – From access to capital to business basics, Vermont’s BIPOC small business owners face a range of barriers to growth, but there are resources available to help.

Recent focus groups were part of a larger project coordinated by the Vermont Small Business Development Center examining the challenges facing underrepresented small business owners in the state.

Ike Bendavid spoke with Tino Rutanhira, co-executive director of the Vermont Professionals of Color Network, about the challenges and resources that are available.
