Chinelo Asanya

Chinelo Asanya grew up in Vermont and has always valued the importance of community, mentorship, and creating opportunities for the next generation. She currently works in the technology sector as a Senior People Systems Analyst at Pax8, where she focuses on improving HR technology systems and helping organizations use data and thoughtful processes to better support their employees.

Over the past eight years, Chinelo has worked across higher education, healthcare, and technology, building expertise at the intersection of people strategy, systems, and operations. Her work centers on helping organizations create more effective and scalable systems that support both employees and leadership.

Outside of her professional role, Chinelo has spent time coaching track and field athletes and mentoring young people, experiences that continue to shape her commitment to leadership development and community engagement. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, visiting art galleries and museums, and spending time with family and friends.

She is passionate about supporting organizations that strengthen community connections and expand opportunities for professionals of color in Vermont. Chinelo is currently pursuing her MBA and looks forward to contributing her perspective and experience to help advance the organization’s mission.
