Mattison joins the VT PoC board with extensive board experience and a passion for her community. She believes that the work of VT PoC is the foundational and sustainable work of community. As a BIPOC professional who has called Vermont home for 34 years, she spent most of that time as a community of one: the only one that looked like her in business meetings, on boards, in conferences, in town meetings, in places of work and play. She believes that VT PoC is building a community where the Black and Brown community can see themselves reflected and find support and belonging. She is committed to the growth and sustainability of VT PoC and in personally supporting the people and work of VT PoC in whatever way best serves the organizational mission and its members, their professional and personal goals and needs.

After growing up in a military family stationed in Georgia, Alaska, and Germany, Mattison got her first glimpse of Vermont when she attended Dartmouth College. A few years after graduation she was back and has been here since. Mattison has spent most of her working life as an e-commerce consultant. She currently works as a user experience designer and architect at OnLogic, a computer hardware manufacturer in South Burlington.

In addition to her work in tech, Mattison is active in community service. She has served on the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) development board, is a former co-chair of the board of Outright Vermont, and sits on the Public Assets Institute board of directors.
