The Young Adult Peer Navigator is responsible for providing assistance to young adults living in Chittenden County up to the age of 26, within the target population of the Youth in Transition (YIT) Program. This position will assist young adults to secure information and connect to existing community services and resources. The Young Adult Peer Navigator must of peer age to the population we serve.
The Peer Navigator will work with young adults to ensure they will have adequate preparation and the necessary support to be productively engaged in the community and will assist in navigating systems and resources in the community.
This is a full time nonexempt position, which pays $20.00 per hour and is eligible for an excellent benefits package. Typically a Monday – Friday 9 am – 5:00 pm, however the working hours will correspond to the operation and needs of the program.
