About the Job

The Department of Philosophy at Saint Michael’s College invites applications for a full-time, academic year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant or Visiting Associate Professor of Philosophy beginning in late August, 2022. Teaching duties include introductory courses and at least one upper-level seminar in Modern Philosophy. Capacity to teach an upper-level course in Philosophy of Action is not necessary but would be a plus.

The contract is for one year. Campus housing is available.

Requirements:

Applicants must have the following:

  • A Ph.D. with previous teaching experience is preferred
  • ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor
