The Lottery’s internal control system (ICS) maintains and guarantees the integrity of Lottery draw games like Powerball, MegaMillions, Lucky For Life, Megabucks – and more. As Draw Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for testing vendor applications and problem-solving software versions of the online gaming system in coordination with the gaming vendor and its contractors. You’ll monitor all game draws with vendors and organizations conducting the daily draws to validate and balance results. In addition, you’ll schedule staff for ICS shifts and maintain the security of the Lottery’s ICS.
As the Lottery Draw Coordinator, you’ll work 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and have an associate degree or 3-5 years of technical experience. You’re comfortable with computer operations and system control procedures; familiar with state-of-the-art hardware and software and their application to public gaming. You can perform a system analysis, including information needs, requirements and design alternatives. You can apply and interpret lottery draw and security procedures, while analyzing operational problems that may occur. Most of all, you’re great with details and can interpret and apply rules and regulations of considerable complexity.
Prior lottery experience is preferred, but not required. This position requires a full background check, including fingerprints.
