About the Job

The Vermont Foodbank seeks a self-motivated, energetic VeggieVanGo Program Coordinator. This permanent full-time hourly position reports to the Manager of Food Access Programs. The primary components of this position include collaborating with community partners to increase access to fresh produce and taking part in special projects related to capacity, sustainability, and expansion of the VeggieVanGo program, in addition to other food access programs. This includes developing and improving systems to meet programmatic needs–such as program evaluation, reporting databases, resource development, standard operational procedures, and developing programmatic materials. Program Coordinator is also responsible for hands-on program support for VeggieVanGo events in northern/central Vermont executing distribution plans and communicating emerging needs to the Manager of Food Access Programs. The selected candidate will join an energetic, empowered, collaborative team that derives joy from the work and is wholly dedicated to VF’s mission. A significant portion of this position’s workload will be handled remotely or on-site at events, however, some work will be in the VF facility. This position may offer some nights and weekends, with the ability to travel to events from central to northern Vermont.
