- Job description: The Town Meeting TV Co-Director of Production is responsible with the Co-Director of Operations for maintaining the Town Meeting TV government access TV channels on cable and online, fulfilling the contract with the Town Meeting TV Trustees, managing the Trustees resources, budgets, archival assets, and team to meet the basic mission of Town Meeting TV under the umbrella of CCTV Center For Media and Democracy.
- This person has an understanding of local government in Chittenden County and uses this knowledge to intake, process and assign production jobs for Town Meeting TV coverage. This position manages field producers, post producers, and production resources and assists in studio and field production on a limited basis. This position schedules and manages the production of public meetings, events and sourcing community programming that will air on Town Meeting TV’s cable channels and online outlets.
- The Co-Director is dedicated to free speech and open government, enjoys communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds, is detail oriented, and has a demonstrated professional video production/ post production experience, and facility for managing schedules, people, and production resources in field and studio settings in a timely manner. The Co Director of Productions works closely with the Co Director of Operations to shepherd the Town Meeting TV resources on behalf of the Trustees.
This position is split 70/30. The CCTV productions Coordinator manages and builds our professional production company, CCTV Productions to meet community production needs and support our other mission based work.
This is a management position responsible to staff and supervisors.
