The Vermont Police Academy has a unique opportunity for a Technology & Program Technician that specializes in detailed administrative and technology support work for Academy training programs.
The Technician will be responsible for the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Working with the Director of Administration to prepare, and develop content for the website and social media
- Maintain and enhance a digital record system
- Lead program development and outcomes for the Academy Record Management System portal integration
- Update and maintain administrative policies and procedures
- Perform operational duties including training, provide detailed reports to directors, and assist training staff with day-to-day administration.

This position is based in Pittsford, VT and the hours are 8am to 4:30pm, and may vary depending on needs of the Academy.
The Council is comprised of 24 members from community organizations, law enforcement, and non-profits. Major initiatives that will focus on transparency and equity is through the accreditation process through IADLEST. We have recently acquired two new Fair and Impartial Policing positions that will be a mainstay in our training and operations system development.
