Use your exceptional communication, housing finance, budgeting, creative problem solving and people skills to support Shared Equity Program home owners. You must be a HUD Certified Counselor (or pass the exam within 90 days of hire), and be committed to CHT’s Shared Equity model of permanently affordable home ownership.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Vermont real estate sales transactions, mortgage loan and refinancing products, and experience working in lending, financial counseling, real estate, community services or affordable housing. Lived experience with home ownership, especially in CHT’s Shared Equity Program is strongly preferred. English fluency is required, multi-language fluency is a strong plus.
