The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the internal and external financial reporting for NG Advantage. This role requires a team player with the desire to succeed, determination and strong attention to detail. The Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with executives, managers and staff within various shared services on a variety of projects. Duties include conducting cash management activities, budget preparation and ad hoc analysis including variance to budget, the proper maintenance of all accounting and reporting in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP and tax requirements as well as oversight of the internal and external audit process, and financial planning and reporting for the business.
Must (1) have a minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting and three to five years of general accounting experience, ideally with auditor experience and extensive knowledge of US GAAP concepts; (2) excel at dealing with numbers on a daily basis; (3) have strong communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing; (4) demonstrate strong analytical skills; (5) be able to exercise mature judgment; and (6) have the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor. CPA Certification is preferred but not required.
