Retail Store Program Manager

 

The Vermont Foodbank seeks a self-motivated, energetic Retail Store Program Manager. The primary components of this position include securing a steady flow of food donations to the Foodbank from local food donors by cultivating existing relationships. They will also be expected to develop new relationships with and between local network partners and food donors.  Donors include but not are not limited to retailers, processors, manufacturers, restaurants, cafeterias (schools, hospitals, etc.), and vegetable and meat growers.  The retail store program manager is responsible for expanding the Foodbank’s food rescue program and for adherence to safe food handling procedures. This position works closely with the philanthropy department.  Attached is the job description with additional details regarding this particular position.

Frequent travel is necessary for which private and consistent means of transportation must be available. Ability to travel, as needed, to any of the Vermont Foodbank branches in the state is required. The Vermont Foodbank’s work culture is progressive, forward thinking, and equity minded. Wage or Salary
Between $19.50 and $22.00 depending on relevent experience, education, and etc
