About the Job

As the Resident Engagement Manager you will create inclusive opportunities that encourage resident participation and connection with one another. This dynamic role works with residents and other staff members to identify needs at various sites, and works to meet those needs by creating and implementing programming or identifying and cultivating appropriate partnerships. Activities range from one-on-one or group discussions with residents to all phases of planning and implementing events, data entry, creating food pantries, facilitating community gardens, coordinating with volunteers and more.

The ideal candidate will be committed to social justice and equity, have a positive attitude, high level of self-motivation, sound judgment, empathy and an ability to work independently. Excellent community building and organizing, communication and computer and technology skills are required. Skills may be demonstrated through at least 5 years of professional experience or a combination of experience and education in a related field. English fluency is required, and multi-language fluency is a strong plus.
