About the Job

The Public Health Marketing Strategist position is part of the Health Department’s central Communication Office team within the Commissioner’s Office, influencing marketing and design across all communication channels, and overseeing the work of staff involving in marketing and design. The primary purpose of this position is to lead, advise and manage public health marketing, graphic design and brand identity across the dozens of programs within the department. This ensures our efforts are strategically designed and executed to authentically listen to, engage and move Vermont residents and visitors to take action to protect or improve their health and that of their communities. Major job duties are marketing strategy and management, graphic design and brand management, and crisis and emergency risk communication.
