SAMHSA Program Assistant

Provide evaluation assistance for Safe Recovery’s Targeted Capacity Expansion SAMHSA grant aimed to evaluate the low barrier buprenorphine program. Basic functions include recruiting, screening and interacting with grant participants, conducting urinalysis testing, conducting study visits and follow-up assessments, and performing data collection and management.  This position works out of Howard Center’s St. Albans office.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and screen evaluation participants
  • Schedule evaluation visits
  • Conduct intake and follow up assessments
  • Collect and manage data
  • Assist Evaluator and Program Manager in writing reports and other documents
  • Manage and order equipment, supplies and incentives

Requirements:

 

  • A combination of skills, experience and/or education will be considered
  • Experience with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, data management and graphing

Structure:

  • Full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Non-exempt
  • Starting at $21.40 an hour
