The Product Manager oversees the development of Myti products from start to finish to ensure they meet the user’s needs and preferences. Their primary duties include championing the overall product vision, managing backlog items, and deciding which features each product will have according to users’ preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Management
    • Define product requirements for the core platform to ensure Shopkeeper and Buyer satisfaction and joy in the use of Myti products.
    • Work with internal Myti teams to ensure that the Shopkeeper experience with Myti products is a delight, from Inventory integration to Product Pickup and Payment.
    • Work with the engineering teams in an agile environment to drive constant innovation.
    • Collaborate with the team and with prospective buyers, shopkeepers, and other potential users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
    • Develop user stories
    • Live in the company vision and guide the operations and development teams to move closer to fulfilling that vision through product revisions.
    • Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development

 

  • Project / Release Management
    • Efficiently and regularly communicate project status and updates to internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including the Shopkeeper Care Team and Core Management
    • Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure the value of Myti products and releases are appropriately positioned and marketed to Shopkeepers and Buyers.
    • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
    • Weekly Release Reporting, including communicating release details and schedules to the Business as required
    • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
    • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Product Tester

 

  • Work closely with the Data Engineer and Shopkeeper Care Team to confirm the quality of the platform/products.
  • Decide whether platform/products meet the specified requirements that produce the desired results.
  • Identify bugs, propose solutions, or/and communicate findings with the development team.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of product management
  • Proven experience developing both web and mobile products
  • A history of translating customer insight into product requirements
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use complex data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and challenge conventional wisdom.
  • Past success in building coalitions and working across various teams, including UX, Engineering, Compliance & Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving and demanding environments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • BS or BA in computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, or related
  • Impressive leadership skills to motivate and drive their teams to complete and launch products on time
  • An eye for detail to carefully examine products and ensure they contain functional features that the Shopkeeper and Buyers require.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
  • Understanding of design quality standards
  • Relentless work ethic

  • Adaptable to whatever Covid requirements presented by the CDC, State, or city.

SCHEDULE

We work Monday to Friday at Hula Lakeside. While we do not have a fixed schedule, we plan meetings. We expect you to participate in team meetings and scheduled shopkeeper meetings. We value spontaneous conversations, so it is good to plan on working with others part of the week.

Wage or Salary
$60,000 to $100,000
