The Operations and Human Resources Manager is responsible for advancing the mission of the Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund and supports the Executive Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the organization. The core responsibilities of the Operations and Human Resources Manager include human resources and organizational development, operations, administration, and special projects management. The Manager, along with the organization’s Program Directors, ensures robust internal communications and sharing of knowledge and information among all staff. In addition, the Manager works with the Executive Director to ensure sufficient staff capacity to meet our annual work plan objectives and shall manage the administrative support needs of the VSJF’s Business Coaching program, its contracted coaches, and will ensure high quality service delivery to our business coaching clients. The Operations and Human Resources Manager is part of the organization’s management team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience and at least 5 years in a senior management role.

This is an exempt, full-time position, reporting to the Executive Director. Salary will be commensurate with experience and available funding, within the range of $70,000-$75,000/year. Employee health (100% single plan), dental and vision insurance and health savings plan, paid holidays and combined time off, plus up to 3% SIMPLE IRA retirement contribution. This is a combined office and remote work position.
