Employer's Approach to Diversity, Equity, & Belonging

The CCRPC is committed to building its capacity to address systemic racism and inequities in all facets of its work. In 2021, a racial equity consultant (The Creative Discourse Group) was hired, and one of their tasks was to provide an organizational assessment, which yielded a number of recommendations -- including hiring an Equity and Engagement Manager to lead the organization's efforts (hired October 2022) and forming an inclusive Equity Advisory Committee (established November 2022). The Equity Advisory Committee is in the process of addressing and prioritizing the recommendations from the organizational assessment, as well as supporting the Equity and Engagement Manager. More information, including the full organizational assessment, can be found at: https://www.ccrpcvt.org/equity/
