About the Job

As a Home Education Counselor, you will work independently and as a member of a positive and collaborative team to help people in our community gain the financial skills they need to rent or buy a home. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, public speaking, facilitation and people skills, and will enjoy working both one-on-one and facilitating group workshops. Prior experience working in housing programs, counseling, education, real estate, banking or a related field is strongly preferred. Some night and weekend hours and local travel are required.  Occasional travel for training is required. Must be a HUD Certified Counselor or have the ability to pass the certification exam within 90 days of hire.
