This position leads the development of a new, statewide work-based learning and training program. It will assist in the development and expansion of internship and returnship opportunities with employers, create and implement a subsidy program that helps pay eligible workers in select work experiences, help design and develop an online platform to display work-based learning and training opportunities, and support strategies to help employers use work-based learning and training as part of their talent pipeline expansion. This position functions as part of the workforce development team and works with statewide partners like secondary and post-secondary education providers to promote work-based learning and training models and opportunities that lead to available jobs with Vermont employers.
