The Kellogg-Hubbard is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and family-friendly environment in which all staff and patrons can thrive and share their gifts. In 2022, we worked with CQ Strategies to conduct an audit of our HR and hiring practices. A DEI committee (which we hope to revive) met throughout 2022 and contributed to our 2023-2025 Strategic Plan. This plan outlines many ongoing initiatives, including diversity audits for our collection and programs, improvements to our physical space to reflect many ethnicities, races, languages, and abilities, and allocating additional resources to partnerships toward reaching underserved populations.
