VSJF is hiring a Grants and Fund Development Manager, who will be responsible for grants management and major donor relationship development to support VSJF’s mission. The Grants and Fund Development Manager will be responsible for executing VSJF’s annual grants management cycle, maintaining key metrics related to grant deliverables, and implementing an annual major gift solicitation. The VSJF is fortunate to have a diverse funding base of support, from state, federal and foundation grants, fees for service, contributions, corporate sponsorships, and event income.
This position is responsible for researching and identifying funding opportunities, and collaborating with the Executive Director to develop and implement an annual major gift solicitation to raise at least $100,000 per year. This position is responsible for meeting annual fundraising goals across multiple channels, coordinating applications, as well as tracking and reporting of grant-related outcomes. The position will collaborate with VSJF staff to forward the organization’s work with a passion for our mission. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ work experience in grant writing and management and/or fundraising/development in the non-profit field and a bachelor’s degree in communications, business, fundraising or other related field of study (or equivalent education and experience).
This is an exempt, full-time position, reporting to the Executive Director. Salary will be commensurate with experience and available funding, within the range of $65,000-$75,000/year. Employee health and dental insurance, paid holidays and combined time, plus up to 3% SIMPLE IRA retirement contribution. Position will be a combination of in-office and remote work.
