The Vermont Department of Labor is looking for a Financial Manager III to oversee the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund accounting unit.
The Unemployment Insurance (UI) Financial Manager III is responsible for the UI Divisions Trust Fund Accounting. This includes managing and overseeing employer paid contributions and benefit accounts related to Unemployment Insurance benefits, along with transferring and drawing down funds appropriately. The functions in this position are highly regulated by the federal government and this position is responsible for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual complex federal and state reporting. In addition, this position supervises other Financial Administrators and is the lead on state audits being conducted on UI financials.
