Family Strengthening Worker / Home Visitor
The Janet S. Munt Family Room is a Parent Child Center located in the old north end of Burlington. The Janet S. Munt Family Room is seeking enthusiastic staff to join us to support our community-driven Family Room programs.
Family Strengthening Worker / Home Visitor supports family-centered programs at The Janet S. Munt Family Room. This position plans, organizes, supports and collaborates with programs for families and young children in the Family Room. Provide families and parents with information about child development and provide specific support and services as needed. It also provides social service support and home visits for families and helps parents address family needs and goals.
Ideal candidates should be caring, passionate, have direct experience working with children and families in culturally diverse communities, and have home visiting experience.
This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week. Compensation is $19 per hour or more based on experience. Benefits packages are available.
