In June 2020, the CCRPC published a commitment (https://conta.cc/31PrsId) outlining the steps it will take to address systemic racism and inequities in our community. Subsequently, the CCRPC hired a racial equity consultant (The Creative Discourse Group) to conduct an organizational assessment of policies, practices, culture and services through the lens of anti-racism and white privilege, which resulted in a series of recommendations -- one of which was to hire a full-time equity leader. The organizational assessment and more resources can be found here: https://www.ccrpcvt.org/racial-equity/
