The new Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will report directly to Howard Center’s CEO, and have the complete support of Howard Center’s Executive Leadership Team.
- Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of strategies in alignment with the agency’s DEI and racial justice goals
- Design and implement organization-wide DEI culture change efforts to advance the agency mission
- Engage with external partners to execute our racial justice and DEI strategy
- Conduct ongoing assessment of diversity efforts to inform the agency’s DEI strategy and work plans
- Advise, partner, and collaborate with Human Resources and stakeholders to advance diversity recruitment and retention strategies
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of relevant experience
- Proven effectiveness in collaboration and change management – both theory and practical application – related to organizational culture transformation
- Full-time position (37.5hrs)
- Exempt position
