About the Job

Seeking a “Climate Economy Program Manager” to develop and coordinate services to help communities and emerging leaders build resiliency and economic opportunity. The Manager will oversee the successful Climate Catalyst Leadership program, administer the Climate Catalyst Innovation Fund, and lead focused facilitation, strategic planning, and technical assistance efforts in support of communities working to build resilience, advance economic opportunity, and reduce carbon emissions at the local level. The successful applicant will be a team player with excellent communications skills, an eagerness to learn, a strong sense of mission in service to Vermont communities, and a strong grasp of climate & energy policy.

Starting salary of $62,000 based on skills and experience; attractive benefit package. The position is a 2-year grant funded position with potential for extension as future funding allows. Based in Montpelier with some remote work and scheduling flexibility; regular evening meetings; in-state travel required.
