Property Accounting Manager: CHT is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead its property accounting team. This is a dynamic position with a dynamic organization, offering an opportunity to support the development, management, and stewardship of permanently affordable homes in Northwestern Vermont. This individual will use a balance of strong technical knowledge and excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills to manage, support and oversee daily accounting functions for CHT’s growing portfolio of multi-family rental properties.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with team cultivation and supervision, creating internal and GAAP compliant financial statements, overseeing and participating in audit and budget processes, and performing accounting tasks in a public or nonprofit sector. A minimum of 5 years of accounting management experience, and a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field are strongly preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Home Repair Loan Officer: The lending team is growing, and is currently seeking an individual with a passion for people and a knack for numbers to perform a variety of tasks from loan processing and underwriting through closing and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills with solid technology and analytical skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Experience in banking, lending, real estate or a related field is strongly preferred. A mortgage loan originator’s license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire are required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
Resident Relations Property Manager: Variety is the hallmark of this challenging and exciting role. The Resident Relations Property Manager position provides an opportunity to display a wide spectrum of talents from outstanding customer service, communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to a strong attention to detail, ability to create and monitor property budgets, and stay organized in a rapidly changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a customer service, human services, business, or related field. Knowledge of and experience in affordable housing programs, social service programs, and tenant laws and regulations is strongly preferred. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
Maintenance Technician: This is the perfect position for a handy person who enjoys working with people from numerous countries, cultures, and walks of life. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of tasks including painting, cleaning, light carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance and snow removal. Experience in these areas is a plus. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to teamwork. Reliable transportation and criminal background check are also required.
Motel Front Desk: The ideal candidate for this position will have prior customer service experience, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, dependability and compassion for others. Ability to work nights and weekends is a must.
