About the Job

The Cannabis Control Board is seeking a Deputy Director of Licensing to join our team regulating cannabis in Vermont’s burgeoning legal market. Qualified applicants will have advanced working knowledge with licensing processes, excellent attention to detail and an ability to communicate technical information to the public.

 

Class Definition

Administrative, technical, and coordinating work for the Cannabis Control Board involving issuing licenses and administering the adult use cannabis program.  Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Licensing.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business management, or related field AND four (4) years or more experience in project/operations management, business administration, public administration, performance improvement, or a related field.
OR
Associates degree in public administration, business management, or related field AND seven (7) years or more experience in project/operations management, business administration, public administration, performance improvement, or a related field.
OR
High school diploma AND nine (9) years or more experience in project/operations management, business administration, public administration, performance improvement, or a related field.
