The Cannabis Control Board is seeking a Compliance Director to join our team in regulating cannabis in Vermont’s burgeoning legal market. Qualified applicants will have advanced working knowledge with enforcement processes, excellent attention to detail and an ability to communicate technical information to the public.
Class Definition
Planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing compliance and enforcement work for the Cannabis Control Board to ensure licensed cannabis establishments in Vermont operate honestly, fairly, safely, and in accordance with Board’s administrative rules and the relevant statutes. Work is performed under the supervision of the Executive Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business management, or related field AND five (5) years or more of experience in project/operations management, business administration, public administration, performance improvement, or a related field.
OR
Seven (7) years or more of experience in project/operations management, business administration, public administration, performance improvement, or a related field.
