The UVM Foundation is committed to diversity and building an inclusive environment for people of all backgrounds and ages. We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, people of color, LGBTQ people, and people with disabilities.
As an organization, diversity is woven throughout our long-term strategic plan. Beyond our programs to build the awareness, knowledge and skills that will help us to be a more welcoming and inclusive work environment, we are working actively with alumni leaders to ensure we are providing programs and structures that will increase engagement for alumni across multiple identity groups. These include race and ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender identity, and other historically excluded and underrepresented populations
