Join VT PoC in collaboration with The Safety Team (TST) for an empowering self defense workshop! Rooted in community strength and safety, this self defense workshop offers the following:

• Community-Centered Approach: Creates a safe and affirming space for BIPOC community members to build confidence and resilience together.
• Trauma-Informed Instruction: Ensures that training is empowering, supportive, and accessible for all participants.
• Actionable Self-Defense Strategies: Provides practical tools that can be immediately implemented in everyday situations.
• Culturally Relevant Training: Acknowledges the unique challenges BIPOC individuals face regarding personal safety and systemic inequities.

The workshop will take place at the Media Factory Classroom. Please use the entrance on the east side of the building on the side with the World’s Tallest Filing Cabinet!
