Soul Food Sunday at The Root Social Justice Center

soul food sunday

April 12 @ 1:00 pm 4:00 pm

This is one of our favorite BIPOC affinity spaces and we love gathering with friends, old and new, at this potluck style gathering.

Come share in the laughter, connections and of course delicious food!

We invite Black Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) of any age to join us this month and every month after for this special affinity space, designed by us for us.

Bring your favorite dish, munchie, dessert or drink to share. Bring your gratitude for life and its many blessings, bring your messages of love and solidarity, bring your traditions and most importantly bring yourself! We are always prepared to share and receive with love ❤

We almost always have leftovers to share so we encourage you to BYOT- Bring Your Own Tupperware!

The Root will be using indoor and outdoor spaces for this event as weather permits.

Soul Food Sunday is an inter-generational affinity space for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), non-white folks only. We are Queer, Trans, People of Color (QTPOC) affirming, as well as Youth and Elder affirming. We are centered around connecting QT/BIPOC throughout Vermont to build relationships, heal and break bread together

♿️The Root SJC is wheelchair accessible
