Lane audiences will remember pianist Michelle Cann, whose brilliant interpretations of Florence Price thrilled us in fall of 2021. Since then, her career has taken off, with honors including the Sphinx Medal of Excellence and the Andrew Wolf Chamber Music Award. Joining her is cellist Tommy Mesa, one of the most charismatic performers of his generation. Fellow recipient of the Sphinx Medal of Excellence, Mesa has appeared as a soloist at the Supreme Court on four occasions as well as with the L.A.
