The Foundation’s board of directors stewards an organization managing multiple diversified investment portfolios and provides insight into strategy for fundraising, asset development, finance, operations, and community impact. As the Community Foundation heads into the next board development cycle and embarks on a new five-year plan, it will be looking for directors with backgrounds in investment and finance, law, digital marketing, data management, and information technology.

The organization is composed of hundreds of unique funds and foundations, including Let’s Grow Kids, the Vermont Women’s Fund, the J. Warren and Lois McClure Foundation, and the Samara Fund, to whom our staff provides advice, insight, investment vehicles, and operational support that maximizes each organization’s impact in their individual focus areas.
