Organization's Approach to Diversity, Equity, Belonging, & Inclusion

The HACC Board of Directors developed a DEI Committee in 2020 as a focus to connect businesses to a broader base and knowledge on diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are currently in the planning stages to write a declaration to announce online and to all HACC businesses, in support of their efforts to a broader base of potential new employees. We’ve also discussed approaching individual Hartford businesses to determine their needs regarding equity and representation locally. These will be our next steps for 2023
