Organization Description
The Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD) is looking for a Winooski resident to serve as an alternate on its board of commissioners! CSWD's mission is to reduce and manage the solid waste generated within Chittenden County in an environmentally sound, efficient, effective, and economical manner. Each CSWD member city or town appoints a representative and an alternate to serve on the Board of Commissioners to set policy and make major decisions. This volunteer opportunity is an excellent way to serve the community, get involved in the local decision-making process, and learn more about our important regional systems. Applicants with related experience, skill sets, and interests are encouraged to apply.
