Organization Description
The Senate Committee on Committees is seeking applicants for an appointment to the Vermont Commission on Women. The Vermont Commission on Women is an independent non-partisan state government commission, governed by 16 Commissioners with the mission of advancing rights and opportunities for women and girls in Vermont. Organization's Approach to Diversity, Equity, Belonging, & Inclusion

The Commission on Women has been working to increase the diversity of the commission, including in leadership positions. It is currently Co-Chaired by Kiah Morris. There are several people of color and non-binary commissioners currently serving.

Stipends for Board Membership
volunteers who are not otherwise receiving a state salary for board or commission service will be eligible to receive a per diem of at least $50 per day for their service
