Organization Description
Old Spokes Home is a bike shop and 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating access to bikes and the opportunities they provide for our whole community. OSH is located in Burlington's Old North End and is dedicated to getting everyone, regardless of income, on a bike.
The board is composed of 8 members committed to bikes as a tool to reduce transportation inequity.Organization's Approach to Diversity, Equity, Belonging, & Inclusion
Diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are central to OSH's mission. The Everybody Bikes Program is OSH's flagship effort. Since 2005, the Everybody Bikes program has provided over 5,000 bikes and 10,000 repairs to income-eligible Vermonters. Qualifying customers can purchase bikes, service, and accessories at a subsidized cost: 50% off bikes under $400 (and $200 off bikes OVER $400), 50% off repairs, and 35% off accessories.
