Shidaa Projects Inc.
Shidaa Projects, Inc. is a Vermont based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on cultural education and diversity through sharing West African dances, drumming and other activities. We do this in two ways; first by conducting workshops and residencies in schools, and second by dance drumming performances in community spaces.
Our workshops and performances include drumming, dance, fabric printing using Adinkra symbols, drum making, beading, and cooking.
These activities are created to include participants of all ages. We aim to support diversity projects that will foster cultural awareness that helps students and community members become better citizens with more empathy and understanding.
