Free Access Health Clinic
Free Access Health Clinic (FAHC) was created in response to the massive need for affordable and accessible healthcare. We created FAHC to be available for every underinsured and uninsured Vermonter, regardless of race, faith, gender, or other identity markers. Serving uninsured Vermonters isn’t enough; for many Vermonters who are underinsured, there are still significant difficulties in accessing healthcare. That’s why FAHC serves underinsured Vermonters; this includes Vermonters with insurance, but who still have difficulty accessing the quality healthcare they need. This can include: high co-pays, barriers to transportation, and limited coverage. Learn more about what we mean by underinsured here.
FAHC recognizes that there are barriers to accessing healthcare at every level, from structures and systems, to communal stigma, to individual needs. FAHC hopes to fill the gaps by providing free, anonymous, and accessible care. FAHC works strategically to offer quality care to the Vermonters who need it the most. Through partnerships with local providers, community centers, and local communities, FAHC helps Vermonters get the help they need. FACH is a Vermonter-led and Vermonter-serving community effort. This clinic is made up of Vermonters of every walk of life to serve the diverse needs of Vermonters.
