This Juneteenth, Invest in Vermont’s Future
Juneteenth asks more of us than reflection. It asks what freedom, opportunity, and belonging should mean.
The Vermont Professionals of Color Network (VT PoC) is a statewide nonprofit advancing the social and economic prosperity of BIPOC professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members in Vermont. We create spaces, connections, programs, and opportunities that help people build careers, grow businesses, find belonging, and lead.

Vermont is facing real workforce and demographic challenges. At the same time, the BIPOC community is the fastest growing community in the state, growing by 112% between 2010 and 2020. These are Vermont’s future educators, entrepreneurs, bankers, nurses, public servants, neighbors, and leaders.
Investing in this community is not charity. It is a commitment to Vermont’s future.
Our vision is shared prosperity. A stronger BIPOC community does not come at anyone else’s expense. It means more people contributing, hiring, serving, buying homes, starting businesses, and helping Vermont thrive. It’s a win for ALL Vermonters!
This Juneteenth, we are asking 500 people to help us raise $10,000.
Vermonters understand the power of small gifts. Bernie Sanders showed the country that a movement can be powered by many people giving what they can, not just by a few wealthy donors. We believe that same principle can help sustain VT PoC.
Give monthly at any amount. A recurring gift of $25 a month can make a real difference. So can $10. So can $50.
Monthly support helps us plan ahead and continue building the community infrastructure that helps BIPOC Vermonters prosper all year long.
This Juneteenth, don’t just honor history. Invest in what Vermont can become.
